REBEL RACING? ERIK LIND?? CLINT??? long lunch break or what?

What gives with Rebel? buddy crashed his race car and mangled one of his RSR rebel racing 935 spring plates. He's getting run around on whether or not he can buy one replacement? ...after of course not hearing from either for an unacceptable length of time.

Don't get me wrong I like Clint a lot and have in the past had good experience with both he and his products but the way the business is run lately is a mess at best.

I'm about to go through the suspension on a new build from front to back on an IROC clone. I may not even attempt to buy their products...

Anyone know if they will be coming out of the shadows anytime soon?

For your new build, buy the parts through Tarett....

Yeah, for the 935 spring plates that is the plan. I'd like to buy the Rebel Racing front bushings and likely will unless I go 935 front setup but doubtful. ...I'll be needing rear coil over set up, sways, likely monoballs for the trailing arms and a few other tidbits.

THanks,

Why not reach out to Erik directly to see if he has a source? He's always putting sweet go-fast parts on 911s for people incapable of doing it themselves

Erik is the one responding to Rebel Racing emails as I understand it. ...just a quick vent as my buddy didn't get any love.

Seems more like a very public attack than a 'quick vent'.

Yep, seems like a poor way to fix a problem head on. Makes me think that there are two sides to this story.

Maybe, but perhaps it motivates them to do better. I don't think anyone can argue that customer service has needed improvement.

There are always 2 sides of a story. There is not much going on here though.

Buddy crashed, would like to buy one spring plate. He told me he was having a hard time reaching someone at Rebel.

I told him that Rebel Racing issues are supposedly being fixed as Erik Lind is supposed to be taking over handling of customers.

He reached out, eventually heard back. Once he told them what he needed, it was crickets again.

He has decided that he is going to find it elsewhere.

End of story.

Love you Clint, Don't know you Erik really but I hope you fix the store.
