Angry Side Window Seal Help

Can somebody help me? I have spent four years restoring my '74 911 and only the side window seals are holding me back from driving my car!

I have a 74 911 which I believe originally had the opening side windows. The car had been changed to fixed windows (with the aluminum trim inserted into the seal) when I bought it, but the seals were worn and looked bad.

I removed the seals and bought new ones, they appear to be about 1" too tall at the B-pillar end, and the back end does not fit.

Do I have the wrong seals? My local aftermarket Porsche guy has ordered them twice and they were wrong both times.

Is this a problem related to the switch to a fixed window? Or am I getting seals for the wrong year when the window openings were changed? I am afraid to order from Pelican because I can't be sure they will fit.

Besides putting my crappy original seals back in how can I get my car on the road?
