Triangle of death gaskets
Do I require to empty the oil to replace the gasket and o rings'
on these items? Thanks |

No you don't have to , they're on top of the engine ... although you might have to remove
a bunch of stuff for access !

Do yourself a favor and sand the breather cover flat before replacing the gasket.

Seconded: Sanding flat means a piece of sandpaper and marble countertop, and removing the sensor so you can sand it perfectly flat.
These damn these just...leak... |

Totally agree.....most 911's I have seen have some sort of leak there, except for the Kremer 3.2 I used to have. Totally clean throughout the 15 years I had the car.
Not sure what they did, but it may be pure dumb luck on my part, but my bet is they flatted both the cover and the engine housing - naturally before assembly. My current build will get its engine case lightly sanded using a piece of glass/sandpaper with the halves bolted together. I hope it works half as well as whatever Kremer did. D. |

I glued 400 wet and dry sandpaper to a piece of glass and did the
intake runners already. |
