How do I fix rear window seal gap

My 84 Targa has a gap on the rear window seal. Left side has a gap. Right side is covered without a gap.

Looks like the trim piece underneath the seal was not screwed down all the way before they installed the window.

It does not appear that there is any way to get to that screw with the window in place.

I'm thinking about masking it all off and trying to turn the screw with some needle nose pliers. Not sure I can get a good grip on that screw head though.

Anyone have any good ideas on how to fix this?

The only real fix is to remove the Targa glass and install with a new seal. A difficult job, but water will get in there sooner or later and you will have rust.
