Speed Bleeder Sizes and availability. 76 911 2.7
Hope you can help:
I'm looking for : Front x 2: Thread Size M8, pitch 1.25mm, number of threads 11 Rear x 2: Thread Size M7, pitch 1.00mm, number of threads 11 I just returned a Goodridge set (Correct thread size & pitch) as they only had 7 threads and were to short so would not shut of the valve as would make contact with the nut shoulder before sealing the valve. Suppliers and part numbers much appreciated for a longer 11 thread version. Cheers |

This is what I came up with for 1976 911 2.7 (M calipers):
Speed Bleeder Products: Front: SB8125LL SS (M8 x 1.25mm overall length 38.09mm (my originals were 35mm)) Rear: SB7100 SS (M7 x 1.00 mm overall length 35.15mm (my originals were 30mm)) Note: I expect these to look a bit longer than the original but the next size back/shorter could be marginally to short. The SS suffix is for the Stainless Steel version. |

If you're also considering getting a motive bleeder I wouldn't worry about the speed bleeder. They're designed more for for bleeding by pumping the brakes.
