Fred Apgar, RIP
 
My friend tried to phone Fred the other day and was told by Fred's wife that he is very ill, in intensive care and on a ventilator.
Please get well Fred-you have a whole lot of projects to finish!!!

Unfortunately, Fred passed yesterday. He will be greatly missed and was such an asset to this community. RIP friend.

I am so sorry to hear that Fred has passed away so suddenly, he was a great guy and very knowledgeable and capable Porsche mechanic. This forum has lost another major contributor to our passion and he will be greatly missed.

I am so sorry to hear that. He was a great guy. In fact, I received an email from him that my pistons were almost ready so was surprised to hear he took a turn for the worst.

Talked with Fred many times at Hershey, he was a great guy filled with passion and knowledge about these cars. RIP Fred.
