My 911 hot rod projekt

I would thoroughly investigate the rust situation before getting too deep. 1700 lbs is very light for a steet car. I've got my SWB down to about 1800, but it ain't easy, or cheap. I figure it cost me about $40 a pound to get from 1900 to 1800.

Well, 1700 pounds is easy- just let the corrosion do the work and rust the pounds away.

That shift knob reminds me of the balsa wood nose cone I made for my 36" wingspan Spitfire model back in 1977.
The rest of the just has to be awesome.

Great start! More info on the shifter please!! I like the 915 with the early chrome shifter. Where/What is it?

Looks like you fabbed some sort of outer casing for the torsion tube area??? odd.... never seen that before..
