Who makes the most accurate Fuchs replica?

Wanting to put 16x7's and 16x8's Fuchs on my SC. What company makes the most accurate reps when compared to the looks of OEM?

Next choice after Fuchs would be Fuchsfelge.

Fuchs has started making their old rims again! And at prices that can compete with many of the used ones for sale. Maybe a little more expensive than most replicas, but much stronger, and much lighter!
So if you don't want to try other looks, as the likes of Kent Olsen's beautiful car, and use the super light "Minilights" as a good alternative..go original if possible... Because there is no substitute for lightness when it comes to unsprung weight!

There's also a sale until 12/31, like 10% off or 15% off with tires or something, on the fuchsfelgeusa website. I do see some are on backorder. I was thinking about the 17s but wasn't sure the offsets would work.

Fuchsfelge. Made by the same company that made the original Fuchs. Forged wheels, unlike the other replica companies, who all make cast ones.

^^ this. Apparently technology, like rust, doesn't sleep.

I wish they'd offer 17s in offsets to suit non-ABS cars.

As the guys mentioned lighter.

However I swapped in 8" Maxilites to the back of the SC and can't tell the difference. It is only a street driven car and driven in a normal street sort of manner. But when I had Carrera Cup fakes that really were heavy, I sure could tell the difference. It was like driving around with the emergency brake on.

Maxilite is very popular, even in Germany, because their rims are street legal due to a TÜV certificate. Fits very welll at 7"& 8" on a SC, mostly without the need of widening the fenders. Very good quality. Anodized as well. But - they are casted and not forged as the original Fuchs rims. Therefore the Maxilites are slightly heavier (about 30%). On a normal street car not noticable.

Fuchs itself began some time ago to restart a production of the "Fuchs evolution" / "Fuchs exclusive" rims for all 911 starting from the 964 series with 17-19" ...
https://www.fuchsfelge.com/en/wheel-program/detail/porsche-911-exklusiv-schmiederad-374.html

...and the "Fuchs retro" / Fuchs eclusive rims for all vintage 911 up to 1989: https://www.fuchsfelge.com/en/wheel-program/detail/porsche-911-exclusive-forged-wheel-383.html
These are new rims with new alloys, more stiffer, but same design and sizes: https://www.fuchsfelge.com/fileadmin/user_upload/Service/Download/Jan-2021_Evolution_Fuchsfelge_15-16Zoll_DIN_Lang_4S.pdf

Weights Fuchs rims: https://www.fuchsfelge.com/en/wheel-program/detail/porsche-911-exklusiv-schmiederad-374.html

Maxilites for the 911 SC: https://www.maxilite.ch/en/wheels/Shop/WHEELS/Porsche/911-SC/

Here's a nice overview of all rim weights: 944racing (unfortunately without the Maxilites and the new Fuchs evolution/retro)

The Maxilite 7"x16 weights about 8,3kg/18.3lbs, the 8"x16 has 8,4kg/18,51lbs, the original Fuchs 6"/7" rims afaik only 5,6kg/12,3lbs bzw. 5,8kg/12,8lbs, the new 7"/8"x16 Fuchs evolution / Fuchs retro for the G Body cars 5,7/6,0kg (12,6/13,2lbs)

I loved my 15 inch Fuchs but it is impossible to find a modern tire for the sizes I need.

I bought a set of 17 Euromeisters and I like them. They are a lot heavier however. I noticed an immediate decrease in performance in acceleration. The cornering when UP by a huge amount. Likely some from bigger contact patch tires, and some from not running tires designed for a minivan on the 15s.

If I could get a set of Michelin Sports in the right sizes for my 15s I would change back in a heartbeat.

All the 15 inch tires that fit are autocross tires, and not good for a 5,000 mile road trip in rain or 900 mile driving days.

Maxilites being now anodized? - that's quite an upgrade.
