Wiring help

Good afternoon, everyone,

Can someone please identify this relay plug thing?
A previous owner has put a jumper wire in it for some reason.

Dunno. It would be helpful if you add your car year and model to you signature line.

Yellow wires may be related to the starter. Unplug the jumper and see if your starter works still.

Could be a factory starter immobilizer for an alarm? As the previous person said the yellow wire is probably for the starter

Seat belt interlock relay is the correct answer. The wire is a bypass.

Looks like a bypassed sequential/delay relay for the wipers for earlier cars.
