"While you're in there" list when you have clutch or gearbox serviced
Saw a for sale ad for a 911 that had a list of service items that sounded like a "While you're in there" list when you have clutch or gearbox serviced.

Thanks sugar, surprisingly I have already addressed many of these recently but a couple items to add!

I'm going to add another item to replace while you're in there...the oil thermostat O-ring on top of the engine. BTDT.
Now, a question, is there a generic input shaft seal on the transmission ('83SC), or is it a factory only part? It's not in the gasket set for the transmission, I have two of them, but I need one. |

In the middle of this now and also replaced that. I also chose to replace my oil return tubes and all of the rusty exhaust hardware during this process.

That's a good one that's easy. I replaced with expandable two-piece tubes a few years ago. Still not leaking. My SC seems to be sucking a bit of air, probably time to replace all the injector O-rings, is that a 3.2/Motronic issue too? |
