I appreciate your youtube videos. Just a thought on this. I remember with one of my 912’s I noticed a difference which equaled a half an inch from side to side when I loosed the engine mounts and the trans mounts, jiggled the eng/trans assembly then tightened everything back up. I couldnt figure out why so I adjusted everything till it was equal on both sides.

I know porsche would paint the fender lips with a kind of a raised, dimpled, rough texture. Might check yours to see if they are all the same.

My 74 is off also. I would say past body damage, they are old cars that were not always cherished.

I'll go with illusion. The perspective angle is different in the shots. Picture on the left is at a higher angle looking down so that makes the curvature of the tire greater.
