Need help identifying unknown panel

Hi everybody,

I’m in the process of getting my engine tin powder coated. I found this handmade aluminum panel in the box and I can’t remember where it came from (strip-down has been some time ago). Car is a '73 911T with carbs.

Do any of you know where this was supposed to go? If it’s an replacement for an original part I would like to order a new one, of course.

Thanks!

(scale is in cm)

Awesome - thank you!

According to Design911 it was indeed used on my car:
Porsche 911 F 1970-73
Porsche 911 G 1974-77 only for vehicles with a 915 transmission
