New-ish 911SC Targa Owner

Window switches - what holds them in place?
Just put in new door cards and was curious what actually holds in the switches. My car, since I've owned it, has always had loose window switches that seem to not catch on any part of the door card.
Is the little bezel metal cage item I see in the parts diagram what they actually hook onto? (Part 33 in the image)

Yes, item 33 is a metal frame that is connected to the door card with Bent over tabs on the inside of door card. The frame is a tight fit for the switch and holds in in place firmly.

The switches themselves have little metal spring clips at the top and bottom that hold them in to the door card bezel. Both the clips and the bezel can eventually fail... Appbiz makes a stainless bezel replacement that works well.
