i posted a picture of the steering wheel on another (abomination) thread. two-tone 993 AIRBAG steering wheel in an SC. and, it is the wheel from a tiptronic car, so it has the shift buttons on it. Ugly, and useless, unless he is a mechanical genius that has rigged an SC with a functional airbag and its sensors, and has perfected the world's first electronic Sequential Shift 915 transmission!!! Finally, lack of taste has no boundries (state, international, or otherwise ) max

With respect to car #2 that we are bashing: "BELEIVED TO BE PREVIOSLY OWNED BY MUSIC GREAT MICHAEL BOLTON" music great ...? Doesn't their estimate of $13,000 for a '76 S Targa seem a bit high?

I'm trying to figure out the $10K upcharge for a cab...since they didn't exist back then, I assume that the seller thinks the aftermarket conversion increases the value by that amount? Or worse yet, is implying that NADA says that?

You guys are brutal. I prefer to see the half full cup. Well maybe 1/3. Anyway, change the fenders to some993's and redo the interior and it's not a bad looking speedster. These things can be rescued.

Not only his feedback - the car has been bid up to $18,100 with the bidders identity hidden. Yeah, I have a lot of confidence in this auction!

The most disgusting thing about this auction and all of those like it that have came before is the fact that people are bidding!!! You have to wonder who in the hell would bid on such a car that has had "back alley" surgery performed and then this guys horrible feedback to boot. The number of dumb@ss people must quadruple every hour of the day.

Actually, cabs did exist in 83, first year they (re) made them. If you take your time and look that all of the .jpg's, the parts alone are worth much more than $18K. Whomever did this to that poor SC spent a ****load of time of and money to create it.

I just wanna know who writes the "AD COPY" on these e-bay dogs. I'm suprised that they don't end with "and order before midnight and recieve a free eight track player...."

for some reason I thought it was an earlier car than '83 (too many abominations being shown )...you are right about that being the first new cab year. The feedback is amazing. See the transactions with crazytoyz. Now who could *that* be?!?!?

it's the '75 "micheal bolton" car that is the cab conversion. easy to get confused with all of these parts that have been put in a blender.
