Warning Light
The Fasten Belts warning light on my '82 SC stays on regardless of belts fastened/unfastened and seat occupied/unoccupied. The warning buzzer functions normally. My owner's manual states that the light should extinguish after 6 seconds. Any ideas to fix this?
Thanks, Swen |

There's a very early style circuit board in the warning light housing, mine wasn't working and found one of the soldering joints was broken inside. You can pull it out carefully from the dash and undo the wire connector behind. Taking it apart is easy also. These parts are no longer available.

before you start messing with it- it is a pita to get to when you remove the clock...Put your key on and disconnect the battery for couple of seconds .reconnect and report if that helped..?

I was able to wiggle it out without removing the clock.
