Custom Rear 930 Hats and Rotors
Well, after many years searching for a better rear rotor solution for my race car with 930 trailing arms, I gave up had a custom aluminum hat and rotor built by the folks at Coleman Racing Products.
This setup is 4.2 lbs lighter per side than the stock rotors and does not support the parking brake. I had to remove some material (a tab) from the trailing arm bit that did not affect the integrity of the trailing arm.

Great looking rotors, Scott. What kind of life do you expect from them? Saving 8.4 lbs. of unsprung weight is significant.

I expect the slotted rotors to last at least one full race season. They will be less likely to crack than the stock 930 drilled rotors. Not only is that weight unsprung, it is spinning too.

Very nice. I had custom Coleman rotors on my race car and they were good. About half the price of the factory Porsche parts and they lasted much longer since they weren't crossed drilled.
