Stomski paradigm shifter

Looking to upgrade my 915 shifter and was going with the JWest rennshift but have recently discovered the stomski paradigm shifter and was curious if anyone has experience with the stomski shifter. It looks beautiful. Thanks.

915 shifter…

step one: refurb, grease and swap all bushings front to back. test and feel

not satisfied?

step two: keep step one and add the spring as shown here:
Springloaded 915 shifter?! Yes, we can!

step 3: upgrade to WEVO shifter with PJS coupler

I guess you can stop there. unless you do it 100% and get the WEVO gate shift for the transmission as well.

I don't have any experience with this shifter however I do have a lot of experience with
Steve Stomski
I've bought a lot ( all?) of his engine tools and have been extremely impressed with their
design and function so I'd be very surprised if this shifter wasn't the same
Steve's a great guy and completely stand up

I'd also like to know how this shifter is different/better/worse than the current go-to shifters ie. Seine, Wevo, Rennshift.

Seeing how I just bought and installed a Rennshift this week I bet the Stomski is better. I like the look of it, like a Wevo classic without having to reuse the housing. Seems similar, 20 or 30% throw reduction, reverse lockout, +2" option.

I have to say I'm thinking about giving it a go. I know its expensive but it comes with a new shift coupler and bushings, so it makes the price a little more palatable. And given Stomski's reputation for quality of product and customer service, makes me feel even more comfortable.

It’s the same price as the Rennshift with Stomski coupler package. I’m sure it’s every bit as good functionality and I personally prefer the look.

If you don’t like it I’m sure the resale value is high so switching to a Wevo or Rennshift wouldn’t cost you much if anything.

The Stomski looks good but it's expensive and why the fancy case? That just seems silly.

IMO the WEVO & JWest are more sensible and the proven solutions.
(Would using carbon instead of aluminium provide any real benefits for this component?)

I've been running the JWest solution for more than 10 years and it's been great.

The only complaint I have is that the fasteners and threads are imperial not metric.
Not really a big deal but I wonder why they chose to do that considering the entire car is metric.

My only regret installing the Rennshift last week was not doing it sooner. That seems to echo the sentiments of Wevo owners as well. I’m sure the Stomski is no different.

Great summary. I have the WEVO shiftgate, wevo coupler and OEM short shift kit.........love this combination.
