the tank was supplied by Andial (714 957-3900). Andial built the motor and setup the injection. Don't make such a big thing about off/on. It's really quite friendly. Slidevalve gets rid of a lot of mixture issues with wild cams like RSR and makes it run better than a butterfly setup. email me kurtzimmerman@att.net and i can send some other pictures.

I had a very nice phone discussion with Hanz at H&R. Of course being a MFI gura, he pushed me to MFI mod route and lambasted anything computer based to meter fuel flow.

He said the pump was probably a 906 "experimental" pump after we went through all the details of it's construction. The person who gave me the pump said that Bob Garretson said it was from a 935. Others say it's an RS pump. Who knows. The only way to tell what the thing is is to pull it apart. Hanz said he had the ability to recam the thing to fit the 3.6 motor fuel requirements. The cost would be no more than $1100 and likely less. To me, that's a pleasant surprise. Gus at Pacific FI said he did not have the ability to recam the thing so Hanz is the only option to mod the pump as far as I know. From my view, the cost to mod the throttle body at $1300 (I'm not interested in the high butterflies nor slide valves) and cost to add the pulley drive and mount the thing still seem reasonable. I guess there is a cost associated with hollowing out the stacks but I can't imagine that to be too tricky. Right now, the motor is apart and I plan to rebuild the thing so machining the heads to accept the injectors and adding the MFI pulley are no biggies. Oh, I forgot about the throttle body adapters. I could have a friend mill a set for me or acquire them from Lee Cummings. Does anyone have the number for Lee?

Kurt..do you run your car with no filter on top of those very cool air horns? I'd love to get that early "look" for my car.

I have looked at the TWM throttle bodies but they're $2300 for the kit and I would still need to acquire the EMS. Yes...I would need to get an ignition system with the MFI set-up but I don't think the cost for just the ignition system is outrageous. I'll to research the cost more in this area. Does anyone have any thought about the ignition for this 3.6 set-up. I do have the dual distributor for the motor.

I guess it sounds like I'm leaning over to the MFI approach and I am. I know that going the digital way would give me better ability to tune the motor and probably smoother response across the RPM range but I have to admit, the MFI approach is interesting and better fits the charater of my early RSR project. Furthermore, using what might be a true race pump makes the project a little more fun as well.
