Intermittent No Start
Good morning -
I've owned my 1977 911S for just a few weeks and this morning for the second time I'm in a no start condition. This morning it was in the garage over night. Probably 60 degrees in the garage not cold. It turns no problem and tries to start by sputtering for a second or two, but doesn't stay running. Same thing happened before on a cold night the RPM would shoot up and crash right down not starting. I pushed it into a parking structure and it started...probably just coincidence. |

May be check the fuel pump relay and its contacts/sockets. Swap it with a known good one if you have access to one and see if the issue disappears.

Well it turns out this morning's problem was due to a lack fuel in the fuel tank. I'm glad I didn't ts that for days lol. Note to self when the reserve light comes on get fuel immediately because the gauge doesn't change much. haha
