Check my starter wiring pls?
I ordered a direct replacement Bosch starter for my original and the connections are a but different. Here is a pic of the old starter resting on the new one. The red cable is correct, but is the yellow meant to be on the lower, smaller phillips-screw post or the higher, larger phillips screw post. Note the original wiring harness terminal fits the lower one I've installed it here. The post terminal is too small for other screw in the upper terminal.
This is on a 1985 911 Cab. Did I get it right? Thanks! ![]()
