Value of 7/8" Fuchs
I bought a set of 16x7/8 inch fuchs that came off a 944 Turbo, I had them on my 911SC until I decided to have them refinished. They are at Al Reed right now, so I will get them back like new, anodized lip, black center. I just was wondering what these wheels are worth? I have one other option for wheels and I want to know what I could get for these. I might just sell the 7"s so what would those be worth alone? Thank you all!

FWIW,
I recently purchased a set (2) of 16x7 944/951 Fuchs (951.362.115.00) for $400.00. No center caps or lugs. Good condition, black paint was faded. Hope this helps.. Bob ![]() |

The 8's are useful to 911 owners, to put in the front. I don't know of any notable use for the 7's.

If you had them on an SC i saw a nice set bid up to $1600 I think on Ebay a few weeks ago. I would think a set of 7,8s that are refininshed and have the 911 off set will get $1200 to $1500. I like my Fuchs faded so I would only give you $500 :-))

Correct..even though the 911 and 944(951) 7" Fuchs have the same 23.3 mm offset..the 951 piece has better brake clearance for the big calipers.

If the 8's are Porsche Part # 951 362 117 00 16 x 8 Fuchs then they are worth some money. I think wheel enhancement quoted me $1200 for a set = Earnie's alloys - $1600. I bought a set for $700 and thought I got a steal at the time. 16 x 8 (As above) and 16 x 9's are about the largest stock wheel you can put on the Carrera. Except of course if you are Jack with his custom fuch/lindsays in 17" config.

So the 7" fuchs have the same offset as the 911 wheels? So basically it is the same, just allows bigger calipers? So the 7"'s could be used on an SC and it wouldnt be any different than the 911 ones? THanks for all your responses!

If you have the 7's and 8's off a 944 turbo, I don't know how you'll use them directly on a 911. The 8's, as mentioned before, will go up front. I have these on a Carrera. If you put them on the back, the offset may fit, but your car will have more tire toward the inner wheel well and lots of gap at the fender lips. Basically, you have two sets of wheels that can be used up front. Now you just have to pick up a set of 9x16's for the rear.

Don't get us started on wheel fitment! What you are looking for is the difference between offset and backspacing. Are you looking for caliper clearence or fitting as much rubber as possible under the fender?

If you use the set of 951 Fuchs rims on a 911, it will, for the most part, appear to have 6's & 7's with spacers.
