Is this too much heat exchanger rust?
I've just started looking into fixing up a 1970 911E and I'm thinking that these heat exchangers are too far gone and should be replaced.
I was looking for second options.... here's a photo  also (besides the silicone sealed sump) anyone see anything else that look amiss? More photos and info are available at http://eludicate.com/~bolen/911E/ thanks -- Britt |

those heat exchanger look fine... especially the drivers side with its corrosion protected layer of oil
 looks like a clean car though.....
