Is it possible to remove this?

About to respray my 911 and really want to remove this trim. Do i have to remove the glass or am i able to simply pop it off some how? Thanks

Be prepared for the challenge in reinstalling the glass. I'll just say it is not easy. But, removal is the right choice.
