Easy fix for rusted header access tubes in 911 SC heat exchangers
If your heat exchangers are generally sound, but they have rusted header access tubes, then this idea might be an easy fix for you. I used an old tent pole to make new inserts, and I made a simple tool to flare them in place. As described here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HzZsaIkWx-g

I must say you are very good at thinking through a problem and finding new and creative solutions. Between this and your headstud tool, you seem to be doing what many have claimed is impossible. Sometimes it just takes a fresh perspective. We never stop learning. Thank you for your addition. I’m sure many will find it helpful in the future. If you ever decide to make a run of extra stud extraction tools for people please keep me in mind.

Thanks for the kind words Rsnellie! I've asked about price for a batch of the nuttwisters to make a few stud extractors ... It would be good to hear of it working for some others!
