Damn it!
I thougt I found the problems with my Intercoolerbuilding but today when I should take the first ride and the engine started to warm up it started to shoot backfire in the exhaust and it´s smell gasoline as hell!! I wonder what can be wrong?? I have checked the AAV & AAR and they seems to work ok. I have also checked for leaks but there´s none, the cooler is pressure-tested and no leaks there either. The only thing that missing now that was on the original intake is the dumpvalve, can it be like it´s getting some air thru that and now when it doesnt the mix of air and gas can be incorrect?? Please come with some suggestions and I will surely try them out. Thanks Jocke

Not to be rude but i have no clue of what you just said. But if you car's exhaust smells like gas and is backfiring (i'd imagine shooting flames is what you mean) then someone tweaked the cis meter a bit for a richer mixture. They might have gone too far though.

Sorry if you dont understand my problems, it´s hard to describe it in English for me I guess....
Pure and simple: WITH INTERCOOLER = Running rich, bad idle etc. WITH ORIGINAL INTAKE = Running perfect. And the CIS meter is not touched because when I mount the original parts back it´s just to turn on the ignition and drive.. ![]() "Hope someone understands me...." (I really need some help)
