911 early 74 FD 004 and WUR 008

good day
im struggling with FD 004 and WUR 008 set
I need to rebuild the FD and Im told the 008 cannot be rebuild, need to replace it with 009
Is there any more modern set that I can use? I do not mind not keeping the originality
Thank you

WUR-008 from MY '74 is sealed single unit, not rebuildable. Retro-fit is the WUR-009 from MY '74.5
FD-004 is matched to both WUR-008 and WUR-009. Other sets from later years may possibly be used but the fittings will need to be changed and adjustments made.

WUR 033 was used on later 2.7's so it should work pretty well. See what Tony has for sale.

RarlyL8, wouldn't the 0 438 140 129 WUR be the one for cars with the TPR on the throttle body?
If going to the 009, 033, etc WUR's, I believe the TPR would need to be disconnected and a vacuum line from the throttle body to the WUR added.

Why? The early non rebuildable WURs are quite reliable and are adjustable. I would check it's performance before trying to replace.

My 74 is still rockin' the 50 year old "non-rebuildable" WUR.
