Odd Noise from Fan/Alternator

Hi Guys,

I noticed an odd noise when I turned off my '87 Carrera today after a quick drive around town. I was able to isolate the noise to the fan housing, and wound up catching it on video. Something remains spinning inside the housing after the ignition is turned off. In these videos you'll hear me say "off" to my wife who turns the key while I film. You'll see the part spinning (for a couple seconds) if you look through the holes just above the pulley belt. As you can see it appears to have a gear shape with teeth that's spinning, I'm at a loss as to what it could be. Amy help greatly appreciated, thanks so much!

Here's a screenshot from one of the video's above, the red arrow points at the part that's spinning after ignition is turned off:

Garage
whoever put the alternator in most likely forgot or dropped some nut or washer in. It will stay in since it is magnetic.Take it a part and remove it..
