Nice Car!
The best thing for you to do is to talk privately with boyt911sc (Tony). Send him as many of your cis elements as you can take off yourself. wur, aar, tts, vacuum bits and have him check and calibrate all of it. New fuel injectors are cheap, look around and buy some. From there you have a starting point. Dump loads of gumout (techron) into the fuel system. Mind you, your car may have degraded fuel lines, so have a good look around the fuel pump checking for suspicious looking fuel lines. (obviously fuel filter you'd change when you check your Fuel Accumulator) Anyhow, send your stuff in a box and let him sort it out. Take fuel pressure readings before any of this if you like, but either way, I'd still send all this stuff off pronto. Maybe you'll get it back in time before the cooling weather setting you up for the next challenge. . Phil

Remember we said there is always going to be stuff to fix? A little tough to tell from the angle and the shadows, but the front ride height looks quite high. Mark

Nice find! This is how I bought my SC last year. Poor running condition but listed several thousand below market, no rust, and PO at least looked after it cosmetically and did frequent oil changes. Fixed everything myself. Echo everyone's sentiment, if you are DIY, there so much knowledge on this forum you can figure everything out.

I'll disagree slightly with Phill. BEFORE you pull everything out and send it to Tony, drive a couple tanks of fresh gas with Techron added to it (even if you buy Chevron gas with the Techron already in it, you want a lot more to clean out any crud). If it hasn't smoothed out, THEN pull the CIS parts and send them to Tony during the winter or whenever you think you won't be driving it for a month or two.

Where in TN was the car? Renntag is a good air-cooled shop in Nashville that knows CIS.

I'm a sucker for euro carrera tails and colormatched Fuchs. Pull the trigger on that beast and the folks on this forum will help you sort the CIS.
