Adhesive for loose vinyl?
Much of the vinyl in my 911SC is coming loose, to some extent. It’s pulling away from sections of the door cups and parts of the targa bar. Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a recommended solution for it?

I use this stuff when I’m not spraying, cheap and available everywhere, good for headliners too.

DAP Wildwood Landau Top and Trim Adhesive
This is the best stuff, better than the 3M sprays. It is pricey and comes in aerosol and gallon cans.

3rd for Weldwood Contact cement - just make sure you put it on real thin on both sides, let it sit and air for about 10 minutes before pressing together.
You basically get only one shot tho, it's wicked strong stuff. rjp

PS ya don't waste your time with 3m over the counter on vinyl- any of it. It'll get hot and pull away.
Weldwood- either landau top or contact cement.

I use Permatex Super Weatherstrip adhesive, works great for headliners and vinyl. Inexpensive, available at your local autoparts store.
Weldwood is great as well, Walmart usually has it in small 16 oz cans . H

I have always had good luck with yellow 3M super weatherstrip adhesive, so long as I follow the instructions. For some reason I think the yellow is better than the black.
