Will a Cis from an sc engine work on a 3.2 engine
Hello again gang
I have a complete 3.0 Cis system from an 82-83 and I want to mate it to an 86 3.2 carrera engine. Will it work? |

The non Lambda '78/9 system would be a better starting point but the one you have can be modified to deliver the proper amount of fuel. The system would need about 10% more to adjust for displacement, all other things being equal. The -077 FD can be adjusted up to that level which would about max it out. Would need to mod the inlet ports of course.

I thought I posted a reply last night , but now I don't see it.
Short answer: Yes. That's what I have on my car. With deference to "Crotchety Old Bastard" no adjustments are needed, beyond the basic setup of CIS, with or without the OXS. The CIS has more than enough excess capacity to handle a 7% increase in displacement. Why do you want to go to CIS instead of Motronic?
