Rear bumperette part numbers L&R diff?
I have an 85 911.
I bought a used PASS side bumperette from another '85 , part # 911 505 342 02, which DID NOT FIT. Bolts lined up but it did not fit the contour of my bumper. The part # on mine is 930 505 032 01 Is the left side the same part # or different? Didn't want to risk taking off the drive side to check...the studs are prone to breaking. I thought there were only 2 styles...Euro and US. Wow I was very wrong!! |

Because the license plate lamps mount to the "inside" of the US-spec bumperettes, and because the bumperettes have a specific top & bottom surface profile, the R&L parts are mirror image.

In the Porsche part numbering world, The third 3 digit set indicates side, that is even numbers are right side and odd numbers are left. So a 341 would be driver side.
