Where get Wurth hose clamps?

Anybody have a mail-order source for Wurth (or other good German) hose clamps? Pegasus is the only import-raceware catalogue I have, and they don't carry 'em. God knows Jegs and Speedway don't...

Stephan

Stephan.. take a look at http://www.wuerth.com/konzern/en/kontakt/countries/united_states.html

A lot of distributors in the US, don't know if they sell to the public directly.. but worth a try.

Regards

Silly question Steve, but have you talked to Pelican? They can get a lot of stuff that isn't in the online catalogue, and have been particularly good w/ fasteners and clamps, in my recent experience.

The "good" clamps have a rounded edge and a pressed thread. The hardware store clamps have a hose cutting sharp edge and cut out holes for threads.
"Norma" is a common maker of the "good" type.

Do a search on ebay. About a year ago, this guy was selling big assortments of factory hoseclamps. I got probably 50-75 clamps of all sizes for around $10 or so.

I've had good experience with Eagle Day for norma clamps and metric hardware (zinc dichromate) ... but check with Pelican first.

I got the "good" clamps from Pelican. But I think these were made in Sweden. Not CW, I know.

Funnily enough I got my big strong hose clamps from a plumbing wholesaler. When the guys are working with pipes underground in mud and slush they don't want them breaking.

i recently got norma hose clamps from PP. but i had to ask the right salesman, (don't remember his name).

i was trying to get the "norma 12" (mm?) clamps that are on my carbs. "i think" .... they are actually called fuel injection hose clamps. what i got were standard looking norma hose clamps.

they were in packs of 10, same size. didn't ask if they had assorted size packs.
