Will it run without the tach?
Maybe a stupid question, but can I drive my ‘84 911 with the tach removed? It’s dead and I want to pull it out for repair, but I may have to move the car in and out of the garage a few times during the 1-2 weeks the tach is out for repair.

Yes.
Might want to electric tape any exposed wires so they don't short out on the car. Just to be safe |
