Question Frunk Sealing Glue

I need to replace the frunk seal because mine is brittle and let water came in.

Differently from other seals (like doors) front seal seems glued to stay in place.

Which product do you use to remove the old glue without ruining the paintwork?
Which is the best glue to use to reapply the front seal? (someone suggested to stay away from silicon based products)

Are there any other suggestions?

Carved chopsick works good as a tool, bamboo, doent scratch paint and you can sharpen a chisel end on it. Naptha based solvents work.

ok. thank you ... I'll try to find 3M weatherstrip adhesive or something similar.

@ 911obgyn. thanks. I also was considering Naptha but I wasn't sure if it could damage paint.
