Can I figure out what car my 3.6 came out of with engine code

Hi everyone, looking to see if there is a way to see what car my engine came out of from the engine code.

62P02488

looks like a
6, six cylinder
2 naturally asperated
P 1993
production number 02488

I had this motor shipped here in 2000 from Germany.

Thank you!

Look at the type number. You’ve decoded what the serial number tells you. The type number will give you the exact spec, like Euro or U.S. or Row, etc.

And if you mean what vin it matches, no.
