Mocal Thermostat Location

Installing a new remote oil cooler on my 1974 911s ( the car never had one not even the trombone). Since I have had the stock 2.7 totally redone and built to a RS spec, it needs one. I purchased a kit from *********** which came with all required parts, except for better instructions. I have temporarily mounted the thermostat and am looking for feedback on this location. Does anyone see a problem with this.

If using the stock rigid oil lines you will want the t-stat to be exactly where the factory one was.

use the oil lines to the front as a template to position it. The rear ones are much more flexible.

Bill,
Lines are flexible SS with AN fittings. Just concerned with wheel clearance issues.

OK, unfortunately you can't see my t-stat but I relocated the oil lines below the crease for clearance w/ 275/40 x17 tires on 9.5ER19 wheels back space was ~6" on the tire.
