If you have one key, it's simple, any competent locksmith. Buy the blanks from our host. If you don't have a key that works, it's a little more difficult, but the same answer.

Bring you title and vin to a local dealer. They can make a new key.

Most key guys will argue with you, but you can cut a master key from a valet key.

Keys4Classics is the way.

My local dealers wanted between $150 - $300, including the histrionics of going in, showing title / registration and waiting a long time for a single key. Also, they then wouldn't provide the key code anyway.

Instead of cutting a new key from an old / worn key, send Keys4classics pictures of your key(s) and have them cut new keys from the code (that they will ascertain), they then will also supply you with your code along with the key(s). All for A LOT less than the privilege of the dealership experience.

I had five cars worth done last year. Couldn't be happier...

+1 for Keys for Classics. I had them cut factory blanks for my 911 and my 928 (a very unusual/difficult to cut key requiring special equipment) from a few hi-res digital photos. They include the key code for future reference and guarantee the keys to work 100%. Turn around time was about 2 weeks including international post delivery.

Not sure about Valet key but there are 2 different key blank profiles. Door and Ignition.
The Ignition and Door has two distinct groves on the key while my Door and Glove box key has a single groove and doesn’t work with Ignition. (photo below)
The cut pattern is identical on both sides - dual cut.

It doesn’t state if OP may not have a Master Key or just wants one made to function as an MK to open all door and ignition, so it has to be determined which profile a M-K has. Unless he believes a MK will eliminate a total Re-Key cylinder job.

Since I don’t have a M-K or a Valet - that I know of, even my color-coded Red/Black tabs on my keys are mixed up, the owners manual really doesn’t state a M-K will ‘Open’ doors/glove box/trunk lock AND the Ignition. So I’m baffled on that master key - valet key use. If someone can clarify the difference, please do.

But anyway for reference, the generic key blanks I used are…
Taylor X32 and ILCO PO 5.
Locksmiths usually don’t have these readily on hand (I tried) but they’re still available. My locksmith said there’s no special manner to cut as it’s a standard dual side key but just an obscure key blank.

I like one idea of Key Classics but don’t trust the airmail, customs and the wait.

I ordered keys on 5/16/24 and received them on 5/21/24. Didn't need to leave my house. Again, infinitely easier and faster than ordering through your "friendly" neighborhood dealer.

You can contact Stuart regarding current lead times, turnaround times and shipping...
keys@keys4classics.com

Now that I have the four digit key codes for all the keys, I can have a local locksmith cut new keys if needed.

Thanks @famoroso. That’s a fast turnaround, plus a distant locksmith says my original hardly-used second set of keys may be too worn to have my blanks cut and work properly if at all.
I’ll only be out about $20 if they don’t work, I think 4 blanks were $10.
So I’ll send keys4classics an email.
Also wondering what kind of key blanks are supplied - the Red or Black plastic tops or full solid plated brass?

@Dpmulvan - thanks for posting the chart. I’ll print a copy for the locksmith.
Any idea which Blank # of the 6 that are compatible is considered the Master key?
