Distributor green wire connection question

My new 1981 SC's distributor has the green wire for trigger inputs.I"m missing the male connector from the CDI and I need to know how the two wires coming from the CDI are connected. With the notch on the female connector faced down, does the wire for the shielding go on the left or right?

Thanks but my question is about the other end where the "signal" and "scree" go into the yellow connector on the green wire.

@wazz
Thx. I knew there have been several threads about the green wire but try to find them with the search engine. Impossible. Looks like if you do an engine swap from 3.0 to 3.2, for example,
you better swap the wires from the CDI !
