Difference between US & Euro Bilstein Version 1 front strut cartridges

I've read 8+ different threads on the Bilsteins, and haven't found an answer to this question-

I've got a '85 coupe and I'm going to replace the original Boge units front & rear because they have over 215k on them... and I have stock torsion bars. I will never track this car.

Two different B6 front inserts are offered by Bilstein that have the settings that I desire (Setting: 2015/755)

#P36-0011 Version 1 -Front insert- US version with 7mm spacer

#34-001127 Version 1- Front insert- Euro version with no spacer

My question is this: I intend to lower the car (a little) to Euro spec, but no lower. Should I order the front insert with or without the spacer?

(Rear shocks are going to be the B6 Version 2 #24-001694 (Setting: 1965/1330)

Any info appreciated,

Dave

no spacer,

while the basic struts and inserts were interchangeable for all 911 from '72-89 only the US '76-863 used the spacers due to their higher ride height.

If you accidentilly aquire the struts w/ spacers just don't use them.

Thanks Bill. Also, I learned a lot about all the different Bilsteins from reading your posts!
