Mating 930 tranny to engine question

Does anyone have any video on how to mate the 930 tranny to the throwout bearing? I’m a newbie to that and just wanna see a step-by-step or video. It was easy to separate, but I need to put them back together. Just wanna see how the fork gets pushed onto the throwout bearing..

Thank you!

Yan

Look through the hole on top of the bellhousing as you mate the trans to the engine. Set the bearing with the ears at 6 and 12 o'clock first. Use a mirror and flashlight if the trans is still in the car.

I don't have a video, but I recall it being very finicky. Like John said, a flashlight and mirror helps.

Thank you so much. Tranny is out of the car so it should be easier. So start at six and 12 o’clock and push the fork onto it. Do I then turn it to three and 9 o’clock?

No, the fork locks the bearing in place once it's behind it.

Mating the transmission to the engine, seems to be one of those tasks, that either goes on correctly, the 1st time or the 50th time.

As you pull the two together, the clutch fork will pivot into the correct position.

As mentioned, you can look in through one of the bellhousing gaps, to make sure it’s installed properly

Does this look like the fork is correctly attached to the throwout bearing?
