A good set of used S calipers goes for $300-$400.

I have seen at least 5 different ones for sale in the last few months on the pelican for sale board and on rennlist.

You'll need new struts for S-calipers... don't forget...

Back to the queston:

"Where can I find this upgrade."

I bought stainless steel pistons for 'S' calipers for about $30/each at ZIms. http://www.***********

I'd assume that they have SS pistons for other calipers also.

Thanks for all the info.

Good to know that for the caliper upgrade I will need strut upgrades also.

So Garrett, your telling me that a 73 S and a 73 T had entierly different struts? Are you sure it is not the later A calipers that have the 3.5 spacing, cause I have always been under the impression that the S and M had the same spacing and were directly interchangable. If not, I just lernt some stuff.

Oh and for the later calipers with the 3.5 inch spacing, it is not uncommon for guys to simply elongate one of the mounting holes (make it a slot) to mount the caliper on the early strut. So I'm pretty sure it can be done.....

All S and A caliper struts have the same 3.5" OC caliper bolt spacing. M struts are 3" OC as are the trailing arm mounts.
