CV Joint Boot question
These are the two descriptions for CV boots for the years described. My car is a 1975 911S. How do I know when it was made in 75. I know on the door it says the body was made in October 74 but the engine was a late 75 2.7S.

Hmm, does this have to do with the number of bolts? 74 had 4 bolts, like the 901 box before it. 75 and later were 6 like the rest of the 915s. This may be the difference?

An Oct. '74 build date should put your car in the early-75 group and thus you should have 4 ea M10 CV-joint bolts ... and take the less expensive boots ... assuming no updates done over the years.
