I thought '74 was the first year that the fronts and rears were different. 6's up front and 7's in the rear. 15's all around.

From reading the Red Book, I thought 1978 was the first year Porsche went to 6's and 7's. Prior to 78, the Carrera's had either 6's and 7's or 7's and 8's, and the Turbo models had 7's and 8's.

My '77 had 4) 6 x 15. I believe he's right on the SC ('78 and on) having the first 7's on the rear. Also had the first flares.
