Cool Another New Guy

I just registered with the site today, I’ve been searching around for a good 911 forum and I believe this is one of the best and most active I have ever found.

My dream ever since I was a little guy was to get a 911 and last month I made the plunge and bought one.

She is a 74-911 coupe, with the 3.0 that has been recently rebuilt. I have the Weber carbs on her with a Sportsman Nitrous fogger kit plumber into the intake manifold. I just got a roll cage put in her and some Sparco Evo 9 seats. She is pretty light as she has a Fiberglass body, I’m assuming from GT racing. Upgraded brakes, torsion bars and sway bars and the most unusual Porsche rims I have ever seen. They are 17inch slightly curved 5 spoke 9” in the rear 8-8.5” in the front, with bolts all the way around the diameter making them true 3 piece rims with the Porsche emblem in the center. She came with Tons of toys for me to install. Such as a 10lb Halon system, Crane Cam HI-6R with ignition retard, a big box full of Auto meter gauges to monitor just about everything and another box full of stereo equipment. All I need is some new bumpers and exhaust and I’ll have her on the road.

Hope to learn tons from you guys,

Thanx

Frostie

Welcome, it sounds like you got yourself quite the little hot rod, congrats. This is indeed a great resourse of knowledge & entertainment. Prepare to spend 3 times more money than you plan for. Porscheholism is a disease from which there is no known cure.
