Mine isn't a clone but a close psuedo copy. She's the Red one.

And BTW the Orange one is no clone. It is FryarDDS's car and it is quite real...

its funny i never took any notice of these before i frequented this board. i never appreciated their value. always preferred the '80s cars.

time are a changing. last night i passed a "real" rs on my bike, and gave it the thumbs up on the way. bloke must have thought i was a nutter.

lovely cars.

Shawn,

Great looking RS 'copy' with Fryardds pukka example.

But, lurking in the back ground I spy a convertible...polo red with a narrow body.

Is that a pre 73 targa that's had its targa chopped?

Looks very much like to 65 cab prototype that was made.....

Just being nosey.....

Why is it that rs's and rsr's have much rounder looking rockers and how can i change my sc to look like that, aftermarket fiberglass? Why didn't porsche have all there cars look like that, it's a much better look than the squared rockers?

MFAFF,
That was a 901 prototype owned by Kruse International. It was an odd car.

Shawn,

Thanks for that.
Other than the fact its a prototype what is odd about it?

From other pics, it just doesn't look 'right' but nothing specific.
Maybe in the metal its easier to tell why......

MFAFF,
It just didn't look "right". Don't know how to explain it. It sat WAY high. and just looked "off"...

fastred: here is my (#555) narrow bodied '76, with the rocker covers removed, getting gunned down by Esther Streit at the last DE.

Edit: I can post that picture 'cuse I'm cloning too!!! It won't be too long before the full transformation!
