While I'm In There.... (Alternator R&R)
I've got my alternator out for rebuilding. The fan, shroud and strap are going to Al Reed so he can work his magic on them.
Is there anything else I should be doing "while I'm in there?" Thanks, guys.

stick a light in there and check for any debrise on top of the cylinders, do this then look up from underneath the cylinders for any blockage.

new engine oil thermostat gasket
new oil idiot light sw. maybe renew top breather housing gasket check that you have the new style cylinder air deflectors
