I have been collecting as many porsche pictures as I can find, and in my search I came across this:



Anyone know what it is? Looks like a cross between a 996 and a CGT. Could just be a photoshop.

That's a hack job that one of the auto rags put out a year or two ago. Some kindergarten-level fx plus "borrowed" CGT highlights like side strakes and headlights.

It was foisted off as a 997 ...

Maybe the hack job artist should get a job at Porsche. That thing rocks.

Pretty good hack job. I think it looks pretty good. What if that were the new boxster look, and the 997 reverted to a 993 look. Yea right, and maybe Porsche will get back into racing.

Like you said, it was fun while it lastet. I just blew up the section of the picture of the rear intake. You can clearly see where the door jam would go right through the intake.



Still, a very nice looking car though.

My only problem with any of the new Porsches (including fakes) are the slanted Jap-style headlights.

Why not go back to round?

That's what you get from mixing Ferrari 360 genes with Porsche genes. A Porscharrari....

Still don't like the headlights. I could live with them on a GT3RS. I do like the way the CGT lights look though, kinda the old 70s formula car look.
