The seal faces forward. yes the tape comes on the seals as new. If you can't get it to work right ...just send that steel bumper to me and I will dispose of it for you!

Hey Lynn We are in a Parrallel universe. I just got your old RS parts back form the paint shop and I am installing this weekend. I had the exact same question. I priced out new rubbers and thought I would try to re use the old. Hopefully some one will chime in? I guess I will pull the old mastic off and use trim adhesive unless I hear different. I think you can buy that double sided mastic??? I would rather use the adhesive unless its a no-no. My parts turned out gorgeous, had to spend a few bucks to have the duck tail fitted but other than that no worries. Cant wait to get it done - apply the Carrera graphics and post some pics. Cant wait to see pics of your car all done.
