Weight: 3.2 vs 3.6

Anyone know the weight difference between a 3.2 and a 3.6 (with V-ram)? Just wondering if suspension adjustments are required after a conversion to retain corner balance, ride height, etc.

Thanks,

Thanks! That's exactly what I needed. Carrera 3.2 = 482, 993 3.6 = 512. 30 lb gain.

Actually most of the weight difference is in the really heavy 3.6 flywheel/clutch assembly. If you want to compare apples to apples the #s in this thread are the ones you want.

When setup w/ comparable flywheel/clutch assemblys and auxilary equipment the correct #s are
  • 3.2 484#
  • 964RS 497#
  • 993RS 487#

Will be using a lightweight FW and a KEP billet pressure plate. Weights should end up pretty close to the same.

Thanks guys,

Yup, 993 will be a bit lighter than a 964 as well.
