Problems with ignition switch removal

Hi guys,

I've just attempted to remove the ignition switch assembly from my 83 SC. I've followed the instructions in 101, removed the 2 break-off bolts, removed the bolt that holds the other end to the steering column.

It wobbles about but I can't pull the switch far enough to the right (RHD) to free the end from the steering column.

Am I missing something here??

Cheers,

Tim.

Forget it guys,

Just found an old post of John Walker's - looks like the rivets have to be drilled out of the mounting plate as well.

I was going to delete this thread but for some reason it's not letting me!?

Cheers,

Tim.
